The Bizon is one of the most amazing bars in the Western hemisphere. From the moment you enter the bar
your breath will be taken away when you get absorbed in an amazing atmosphere of blues, booze and
entertainment.
Real barmen, that still know how a good Belgian beer should be poured, blend their specific
personalities with the diversity of the crowd; numerous people from all over the world, of all
classes... and of all ages.
Still, the bar isn't an anonymous melting pot, but characterizes itself by it's casual feel and it's
comforting environment. It's not for nothing that a lot of people can't help but calling this bar their
"living room".
There are live performances on a regular base, with a variety of local and international blues artist,
playing covers, originals or everything together at the weekly jam.
To remember that you're still in a bar, there's a wide range of drinks available, varying from a large selection of Belgian specialty beers, mentioning especially the sours (Guezes) and Trappist Ales, over eclectic wines, to the special house cocktails "Bizon Sour" or "Bizon Blood".
The latter will hammer you straight into the wonders of the Bizon blues.
Among them of course a large selection of the famous Belgian beers including a wide range of Trappist Ales and Sour Beers.
There's Brussels beer from Brasserie de la Senne & Brussels Beer Project.
... and of course soft drinks, coffee and all the alcohol your heart desires...
Aside from a large selection of Belgian and international beers, Italian (bio) wine and regular classics, the Bizon proudly carries not only all Belgian "Trappist Ales" (Chimay, Orval Rochefort, Westmalle & Westvleteren), but also trappists from La Trappe and Zundert.
We offer a wide variety of the "better" sour beers like Gueze and Kriek from Boon, Cantillon, Girardin, Hanssens, Lindemans, Mort Subiet, Timmermans, Oud Beersel, Devillé & Tilquin.
In the Brussels' beer section we can give you a choice of beer from Brasserie de la Senne, Brussels Beer Project & Brasserie Surréaliste, next to monthly specials from other local breweries.
Besides that, there's the internationally acclaimed Guinness on draft, supposedly one of the best in town.
Oh... and actually, we should admit that we have a rather respectful choise of non-alcoholic beverages as well... like a variety of Looza fruit juices amongst other classics and five kinds of alcohol free beers
There's a selection of whiskey and other liquor, while in the shot glass area you can find a couple of fruit flavored "jenevers", Bizon Vodka and other's.
Don't leave without trying the special house cocktail: "Bizon Sour" or "Bizon blood" for the die hards...
